I'm sure some of you who post here or read this board are coming from Philly to some of the NY shows. If you are driving and expect to take the NJ Turnpike, plan for numerous and lengthy delays. For some reason there is literally miles and miles of construction going on necessitating frequent lane closures and massive back-ups. Today I drove up to Manhattan to see Paul McCartney at Yankee Stadium and a trip that normally takes two hours took three and a half. And that's not including the bottleneck at the Lincoln Tunnel. So please, save yourselves a ton of aggravation and plan accordingly.
Also, there's construction in both directions so New Yorkers coming to the Mann next week might want to keep that in mind.
BTW, Paul was his usual, magnificent self. Two and a half hours of some of the finest music ever made, including a nice chunk of the Abbey Road medley for the final encore.
