Thanks John!
Gotta admit, the first set felt kind of uninspired to me, but the second was a blast!-

I was there (Right Balcony, on the rail) and I feel the exact opposite. The first set was well played. Phil came out from the start playing hard and fast, everyone else then followed suit. West L.A. was really a lot of fun and personally I was more than thrilled to hear Hell in a Bucket.
Second set was, indeed, a blast but I agree with a buddy of mine who was also there in saying that Mountain Song and So Many Roads were maybe (IMO) played oddly in the set considering what came before it (BornXEyed, WATCHTOWER and Sittin'). Would have made more sense to start slower and work up. That being said I was really impressed with Colors of the Rain. I had heard recordings but it truly is a sweet piece to hear in-person.
I will take it either way...it was fun and sounded grate, which in the end is all that matters. So happy to have a chance to hear this music and appreciate it as it's being created. This afternoon, streets turned grey and I watched the cars below
My time coming any day, don't worry 'bout me, no-

There's almost always a big difference in being there and just hearing the tapes.
