Millard Fillmore, just because.

But maybe Andrew Jackson because he was a hardass who believed in State's rights ...

Barring that I'd have to go for Grover Cleveland, because how can you not love a guy named after a crazy blue Muppet?

For the top three I agree with the general consensus among historians that Lincoln, FDR, and Washington were the best.
The main criticisms of them are that Lincoln suspended habeus corpus during the Civil War, FDR tried to pack the Supreme court, and Washington failed to deal with the injustice of slavery or find an equitable solution to the clashes with Native Americans. Washington was also a little too sensitive to criticism, although much of it was vicious and undeserved.

Jefferson was undoubtedly a great man and extremely important to the founding of the US, but his presidency was not his best moment. While he acquired the Louisiana territories, he also led the country towards conflict with Britain by establishing an embargo while at the same time cutting the military and leaving it unprepared for war.
JFK deserves praise for his actions on civil rights, but he also drastically increased American involvement in Vietnam. When he entered office there were only 900 advisers there. By the time he was assassinated that number had skyrocketed to 17,000. He was also responsible for the Bay of Pigs fiasco.

The three worst presidents were Buchanan, Johnson, and Bush II.
