A few years ago for a Phil and Friends show in Colorado, Phil brought out Jerry Garcia's famous Wolf guitar and let Jeff Matson (DSO) play it for a few songs.

I don't know who currently owns Wolf, but it would be cool if John K played it for one random show on this seasons FURTHUR tour. C'mon Phil...please?

Ryan Adams makes more sense than Jeff Mattson.

And didn't Phil say that Big Brown was in for repairs and/or was damaged permanently? I seem to recall he divulged that information when he stopped over at the Philzone, but could be wrong, so take caution with that offering.

It would be great to see his guitars being played instead of collecting dust somewhere....

Unfortunately, we only had the Wolf on loan and he had to go home. But at least he got to come out and play for a while,.
I need to rework the action on Big Brown and put on some new strings, so I can bring him out for special events at Terrapin Landing. Big Brown doesn't like to travel any more.
