GREAT QUESTION

Santa Fe Downs ***** Santa Fe NM

1982 ASKED BY SALES PERSON IN TICKET BOOTH IF ANYONE ELSE WAS PLANNING ON COMING TO THE SHOW BECAUSE THEY STILL HAD LOTS OF TICKETS.

If people from the band are reading this, y'all should definitely do a Santa Fe gig in the upcoming future. We would love to have you here. Those 82 and 83 shows were epic! I know Phil didn't like NM because of those cops giving him a ticket but I assure you it's way more lax nowadays. I haven't had a ticket in over 5 years now.

PLEASE CONSIDER SANTA FE AGAIN.

Thank you for your consideration.

I thought The Downs has been closed since 11/97. Saw the '83 shows . Did the" Wang Dang Doodle" > "Dew" out of space on Mickey's 40th birthday. Stellar

Re: The Santa Fe Downs, no they still have shows there but rarely. I think one of the local indian tribes owns the venue now. I know for sure these indians DO NOT have their shit together so to say. I heard they applied for a horse racing license but until they cleared out a huge horse dung pile, they wouldn't be granted a license. That pile of shit is still there many years later. I think they have flea markets there every so often. The tribe that owns it now is greedy as hell, I'm surprised they don't get on it. I guess their laziness beats out their greed in the long run.

They aren't licensed for horse racing so it's essentially unused. But they can still have shows as far as I know. I drive by it almost every day.

Paolo Soleri is closed now as far as I know. They razed the whole indian school complex.
