Tide Pool Time, The extreme low tides provide excellent conditions for observing California's tide pools.On Tuesday morning the 22nd at around 7:45am there will be a minus tide.Check your local Tide Tables. If the sun comes out at all to light up the pools and their colors the viewing will be worth getting up early for. Go a little early before the tide is at its lowest and be sure to wear some old tennis shoes for protection.Have fun!

I just did a quick search on the net it says the perigee is 3:00 pm. At that time the moon is 221,000 miles from earth the closest in 19 years
