Wax - is Colorado going too far??

Anyone hear of this stuff? You extract THC using butane and get the highest high imaginable? I can\'t imagine being that high would be fun unless you\'re a big fan of 4-Loco

What a bunch of crap, this is is practically Reefer Madness! Wax is nothing new, though I think most producers would rather make oil using isopropyl alcohol rather than mess with butane. And I'd lay money that there is no actual clinical data that any amount of THC has ever caused brain damage, what a joke!! Passing out? I'm betting more like falling asleep! Doesn't the DEA in Cali have better things to do, and can't Yahoo find some accurate news to report??

Bet we see more of this kind of BS propaganda as legalization efforts spread!

Hahahahaha one hit is like smoking 20 joints. Good Lord. I much prefer oil even though it is messy. But in the end nothing beats a sticky green bud.

That gave me a good laugh though!

Isopropyl alcohol? In my limited understanding of this I thought butane was the best way to extract, even with the flame risk.

Oh well, shows what I know.

CO2 can also be used if you have the proper equipment. I believe people make tincture with alcohol but not wax/oil

This is exactly the first thing I thought when I read the post. Wax/oil is fairly common these days at shows. Its not going to make you pass out or go crazy. Its perfect for personal vaporizers

Yes. Professional operations use CO2 for oil and wax. Alcohol is used to dissolve into tincture.
