Is it just me or do those strobe/spot lights hurt?!

I too have a problem with the lights that go directly into my eyes. They do hurt. I suggest that you should shield your eyes from them like i do with a base ball cap pulled-down or with a hand held over your eyes. If it hurts it can't be good for your eyesight. Protect your eyes please.

when i was a kid they used to shoot lazers into the audience talk about blinding
they had to stop because someone supposedly got blinded at a blue oyster cult show
