Don't worry, Phil is not going to neglect Colorado.

Outside of TXR, he will do 45 shows. 30 are at the Cap Theater. 4 or 5 others, in various venues or festivals.
That still leaves 10 shows. I saw nothing about him not playing Broomfield. He's talking about residencies. Why
couldn't Broomfield be one? I guess we'll find out soon enough. He just doesn't want to do large tours of one night
stands. That I can understand. Plus the shows we'll get at TXR. Phil could still be doing 60 or 70 shows a year.
Not exactly retirement. We will get our Phil.

I don't know, Chester, the NY Times article says this

the only shows he will play not connected with Mr Shapiro are those at TXR

I interpret this as meaning the other 10 shows would be Vegas, Brooklyn Bowl, London, Shapiro venues...

Rippleish, I responded in the spin off thread. But yeah, I get it. I just think Co. and a few other places may get some shows too.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.

I would go by what the article said, no non-shapiro venues besides TXR. That translates to no CO and no Vibes. London, Vegas, Lockin, Capital and BB are the only places to see Phil in 2014 outside of TXR (and the mexico shows!). I don't understand how this "expands the scene".

You guys, I know Colorado has maketability, I know Phil likes playing here, I am not worried I am just reading the article that was posted. Maybe the article is not accurate who knows but from reading the article he is either playing TXR or Shapiro Inc. Thats all I am saying...

I wish the Grateful Dead can just start over.
And I'm going to sit right here until I die

The spawned threads are annoying...

But I'm thinking Shapiro expected the exclusivity of the deal to brings fans from every corner of the country means the deal means Shapiro has to be involved in shows outside TXR.

I would bet no other shows...
