In a November 2011 interview when Keith Richards was asked if Mick Jagger was invited to the jam sessions in London to prepare for the Stones\' 50th, he responded, \"Of course. I mean, everybody’s welcome. I was going to ask Bill Wyman to come by too. And Mick Taylor. The whole lot. They’re all Stones, you know? Why not?\"
Well, I\'d love to see Phil take that same approach to the GD\'s 50th anniversary, inviting T.C., Donna, and Bruce all to join in.
Also for the 50th they should invite lots of special guests to take turns being \"out front.\" Like. . . Branford Marsalis! And Robert Hunter, Carlos Santana, Bob Dylan, Sting, David Crosby, Dickey Betts, Derek Trucks, Trey Anastasio, et al.
They could even have the ABB as an opening band
Make it the best possible post-Garcia event/tour, the Best Jam Of The 21st Century.
