Hey B-Rad, don't feel so bad - at least you have one more week. I have to go back THIS Monday for a week of PD, and then kids start on the 27th. Having summers off just seems to make going back to work so much more painful. Oh well...summertime done come and gone.

I do remember being depressed when I would have to start teaching in the middle of August. I would try to mitigate the misery by changing into shorts and tees when school ended and trying to do some outdoor stuff with 6-8 hours of remaining light. The truth is we have five more weeks of summer and the parks and beaches are nearly empty once the kids are back in school. Live in the moment when you are able.
