Great upset. That's why they play the games.

Well, once again, Denver is shown to be beatable. It's going to be a very exciting, wide open run to the Super Bowl this year. I don't think even Seattle is a sure thing.

Thats my favorite Chris Berman line.

Like I posted in the other football thread, AFC West match ups are brutal no matter what the records are. SD went into KC a few weeks ago and did the same thing. Had a bad feeling about this one from the get go. Trap game. SD needed this more than Denver and they played that way. Keep Manning off the field is a great strategy. Denvers defense was putrid... Webster got schooled.

That being said ... pass interference is the worst penalty in all sports, its such a game changer especially when it is not called right.

Id like to give a little jab back to Sue - are you ready for the Lions to blow the NFC North lead?

Have a great weekend everyone!

Heck, I've had decades of practice at that!! I'm already having nightmares about Aaron Rodgers coming back and winning out the season, while Stafford throws interception after interception!!

On the other hand, you just never know, no one thought Baltimore had a chance last year. I think NYC would look pretty good draped in Honolulu blue in February!

So if the NY (or at least NJ) Jets can beat Miami next week they will end the season 8-8, aka .500. The sad part of this is that aside from some team that plays whiffle ball in the boogie down Bronkx, they are the only NY (& or NJ) team that has a .500 record. That whiffle ball team didn't even make the playoffs. Aside from whiffle ball, this list includes hockey, basketball, soccer, football, badminton, tiddlywinks, and any other professional sports conglomeration that can be thought of. I mean like almost no team in this city can win more than one of every two games they play. Okay dejected sports rant over. Besides, I am more interested in music than sports anyways. Looks like we will still have more than a few concerts to keep ex sports fans amused in this small town that I call home.
