Re: Best Shakedown Street you ever saw?#2720 2 years, 12 months agoWhen I saw the subject, the first one that comes to mind is, Rochester, 04/16/84. I was there.
Show opener! They came out big. : )I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.

Re: Best Shakedown Street you ever saw?#2762 2 years, 12 months agoeveryone seems to love shakedown street
but it's probably my least favorite dead song ( and it seems like they play it every other time I see a show)
I mean I don't hate it but, there's just not that much going on musically and I can think of ton's of other things I'd rather hear
just my 2 cents fwiw

Re: Best Shakedown Street you ever saw?#2787 2 years, 12 months agoPittsburg '87. I believe it was the day In The Dark was Released? The band seemed to be very spirited, especially Jerry. They opened the 2nd set with it, but of course the song didn't really begin until after all the verses were sung. Jerry was rippin it! the Nevilles came out and sat in a few songs later. Great show!
