Carl Haislip has spastic cerebral palsy and was recognized for his determination to “Keep Going” despite his physical disability.

Carl works for Handycapable as a “HandyTech” and refurbishes computers to get them into the homes of underprivileged families. He does so by laying on his stomach and using a head stick hitting one key at a time to complete his task! He is truly amazing!

the keyboard is hooked to a voice synthesiser that speaks for him
he is a great guy who could just stay at home and let others look after him but he insists on being as independent as possible and mentors young children with severe disabilitys
