Yes, yes I've heard about that. You met your husband too, and maybe some other
details I've forgot?

The day of Madison '83 the mayor of the town made an official proclamation
and declared it Grateful Dead day. Pretty cool. A pretty good show too.

It's great to see when old shows or just things that happen in past that involved the GD, on the memories that it brings back.

With all the miles logged and all the trips traveled it's
amazing how much I can remember. That accounts for
a lot of great memories.

I was also happy they brought out Cryptical that summer which I caught later at Merriweather. Sue, is it true you met your husband on tour that summer? I saw RFK 95 and it was ok,at least Bruce was there.

Yep, at least that's how I think of it. Technically, I was briefly introduced to him 2 years earlier by his sister whom I went to college with, but I didn't actually talk to him then or think about him again until I was walking across the Alpine Valley parking lot in '85 and suddenly saw him walking towards me. I knew he was my classmate's brother tho couldn't remember his name, but even dosed had a great little comfortable chat with him there and found out we both lived in the same town. Then 2 nights later at Riverbend, fate/Jerry put him in the seat right in front of me, and the rest is history. We just had our silver anniversary in February. Thanks for asking, I have to admit I like telling that story!
