It was on late on the Sundance Channel.
the movie just didn't work.
full of inaccuracies and just miscast

have not, going to keep my eyes open for it though, i think that channel is somewhere on the directv list

I mean how can anyone play cassady accurately ?
they didn't call the guy "thefastestmanalive" for nothing and having an actor try to portray the guy just doesn't work.

kesey's bus trip film is going to be in theaters this summer
It will no doubt feature neal heavily
I can't wait to see that !

The cassady flick has been on my to see list. there is a kerouac bio I'd like to see too.

As bad as it might be, I at least have to give a tip of the cap to the producers of the cassady movie. It must have been a labor of love, because it sure was never going to be a blockbuster.

So what's this about Kesey's footage making it to theaters this summer? First I've heard of that. Sounds intriguing.

james, someone could play cassady--i've met a few folks who would fit the bill perfectly...are they professional actors? NO. might take some serious preparation for the role but there is no doubt in my mind someone could play cassady and do it justice---people play hunter s thompson and that is no walk in the park

vaguely remember heartbeat from some years ago, 1980ish i think. it wasn't so bad, but i would like to see it again after all the years.....maybe a different take on it
