the azaleas were given to us by a friend who was taking them out of her own property so they still need some extra love , by next year they should be nicely established

A friend gave me a couple of tomato plants today. What do you figure is a good sun/shade combination. Maybe I'll put in some hot peppers too.

I'm already thinking about how to make sauce.

I'm really thankful that by the way my house sits I can get about any light combination.

I have a mostly shade for the azaleas.

Make sure your tomatoes get at least 6 hours of sunlight a day , they are a full sun plant and will need all of that sun to produce fruit to their best ability, you are lucky , we are not allowed to grow tomatoes here

I have just the place, along the driveway. It gets sun all day, but tapers off a little later in the day.

What's with the tomato's? Take up to much water?

no food period we live in a townhouse , i think it has something to do with drainage issues I know that some of the folks who live in individual houses in our development that have high fences in the back yards do grow veggie gardens but it is on the down low and they usually have their high cedar fences built all the way up to the sides of their houses to keep the HOA out of their business , cant fly a flag if its not a holiday either

You seem to do a pretty good job with what you can do.

You're our resident expert here, so you must be doing something right!!

put the maters in containers so you can move them around you also need to support them with stakes or cages unless you go the upside down route, the good thing bout containers is you can water from the bottom which is best anyway
