And the square head and taller hips on the German. The male in the second pic shows it pretty good.

I got sucked into getting him with the flat face/cuteness & he does not shed at all, which is great. Regular grooming is a must, because his fur is so fine & fluffy. Great, smart dog though- extremely loyal & friendly!Someday, everything's gonna be diff'rent... when I paint my masterpiece -
