I've been wondering if it isn't Bobby's choice. Maybe he feels his voice isn't as good as it was. I think it is. Just turn it up a bit.

Not only his mic but turn up his damn guitar!!!I love Phil but he was way up in the mix last night.
At least I'm still enjoying the ride !!!!!

Phil's vocal seem much louder than Bobby's, but maybe he just sings louder. But, yeah Bobby's guitar too.

I loved last night's show (Tower - 03/19/2011, for various reasons destined to be probably the only show I catch on this tour) but noticed that a couple of times, Weir was clearly gesturing to someone in the crew, seeming to indicate that he was asking for some adjustment (in the volume level?) at least for his guitar.
And now, for some feedback: "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
