One of the hardest runs I did was the Spring of 86. Completely spun out of control. The 2 maine shows are just a blur. After this spring run my dosing became furthur and farther between. Took some gellies and whoever laid them down did not explain the potency. Just way way too strong for my expectation and ended up unraveled during the first night.

Sorry to hear you had bad experiences. Between Hampton and Philly
there were some pretty intense experiences. That 2nd night in
Hampton I was quite high on several levels

Nothing to be sorry about, my body communicated very loudly to me that I took too much too fast. Missed 2 great shows in Maine. Recovered april fools day.

the "unraveling" of oneself beautiful and horrifying experience with LSD yet perhaps a milestone, a rite of passage in your psychonautical adventures
Exactly. I do remember just getting hit so hard and fast. I went from laughing to scared to death in like 30 minutes. Lasted about 6 hours. The problem was noone I was with took the same gel. Never did that before or again after that. Always took the same stuff as others I was with. All I remember is a humming in my head and cold sweat!!!!

it's impossible to understand the bliss without being gripped by the fear.
who else is gonna bring you, a broken arrow?

Unfortunately Spring 1990 I was in school and only caught 3/15 Cap Center (Phil's 50th) and the two Hartford shows before totaling my car, the second one in 6 months, on the way to Copps Coliseum. Summer 1990 was spent making as much$$$ as I could to get to Europe, but I did manage to get to Sacramento, CA for 3 Cal Expo shows in June and saw my last Brent show in Foxboro in July. As a side note, I also did the entire Fall tour 1989 minus the 5 NJ shows before getting in a car accident and totaling my first car. Good times.

Just needed some rest and battery recharging before the Maine shows. We were allready in Saratoga and the Maine shows were coming up. One of the best moves I ever made as Rochester by all accounts was a really good show but the Maine shows were epic...and it was good to be um "relatively: fresh. Hey New Yorker I did those 86 Hampton shows and they were fantastic. 86 gets alot of flack (rightfully so as far as summer tour) but spring tour to "me" was really a continuation of 85. We were having a "high time, living the good life"

oh man, SPAC>Silver Stadium/Rochester>Oxford Speedway, myself and 2 friends stayed in maine 3 more days to chill after the shows and enjoy 4th of July, REALLY GOOD SHOWS/GOOD TIMES

Hey Rigga, while the spring/summer shows were epic, the adventures in Europe were probably epic in their own right, I was at all of spring except Hartford, 3/4 of shows summer '90, but Europe would have been cool as hell, I'm jealous

3-14-90 to 3-19-90.....5 shows until Playin repeated in the 2nd set. Almost 90 friggin' tunes before a repeat. Longest stretch in GD history. Bustout after bustout and 140 songs played on an amazing tour.
