Thanks for trying, Fiat-Lux!! The only way that works for me these days is using an old browser (IE8) and posting from my hard drive. Such a pain!!

LB, that Keller picture is wonderful!!!

This is my third try, still not sure why the pics will not load. I copied new j-pegs, so here we go I hope!

Sorry, still not working!

If they're not uploading directly from your hard drive, the only other method I know of, is to have them "hosted" at a site,
like Photobucket, or Flicker. Then get a direct link from that site, and post it like an IMG.

This is from Paige. She tried to post it earlier, but had trouble with the board. So, I'm posting it for her.

Here's her description;
"This is the Berkeley Greek theatre as an ancient Apollonian lyre. The seating closest to the stage is represented as a tortoise shell, the stage as the stringed portion of the instrument. Twining around the Grecian columns is the Dionysian energy that flows from the earth upward, represented by serpentine shapes, Above which the Phoenix rises anew. " ~ Paige

This thread deserves a bump for the New Year.

It may not qualify as Art, but here is a photo I took from Fall 2012 on a rainy day in the Great Smoky Mtn National Park.

Thank you Paige! My jpeg conversion came out a little more saturated than the processed-for-printing RAW file.

I hope everyone goes back through this thread to look at your and everyone's work.

Thanks Kevin, It was a full frame digital capture, and although I do like saturation, this jpeg conversion of a raw file optimized for printing, may have come out a little too strong. And yes I used Velvia back in the film days. It was a rainy day, used a polarizer, iso 100 for longer exposure to get flow in the water.

It looks like green lizards sleeping under cover of leaves, just waiting for nightfall to hit so they can roam their territory

VERY COOL THREAD to bump, Thanks and Cheers
