Guitarist Alvin Lee has died unexpectedly and suddenly in Spain after what was supposed to be routine surgery, according to his family.

Man this sux. One of the greats. Ten Years After was HUGE for a few years in the early 70's. I remember reading about a full on riot at the forum in LA by the ticketless in 71 ( I read this years later).
