I love many bands...rock, blues, reggae and so on.

I cant stand when people want to compare the Dead and phish. Do you ever hear people compare Zeppelin to the Dead? They both rock!! Youll hear people compare Zeppelin to The Who...for their drummers, guitarists, bassists, ad lead singers who were all the best !!!

Anyway, i love phish. And i love the dead.
I like phish way more than Ratdog...but not more than the dead. But certain tunes like Harry hood will crush a monkey and the engineer anyday...just sayin.

I have such a soft spot for certain Phish songs that are so beautiful.
Just wanted to share with anyone else needing a dose of some good music.

I recently bought the Phish 98 Star Lake video. Totally different band back then. I saw them for the first time in 96 at Deer Creek and fell in love with the music and the scene.....that of course was prior to the scene being full of crack heads

I'm not a Phish fan myself but that's not why I'm posting either....

I just thought I'd mention how ridiculous I thought it was that my boss expected me to like Phish just because I'm into the Dead. I hear people compare them all the time but IMO they sound nothing alike... yet most of the time I talk about the GD with him he comes back with something like "dude, I can't believe you don't like Phish being into the Dead like that"

so I pretty much don't even mention the Dead at work anymore.... and when I do it usually has to do with dates and then my boss comes back with something like "Kev, your going to 10 shows?"
