I keep hearing the SBD's purchased at shows, are hit or miss for quality. So, I don't buy them. Gotten a few from friends,
but have been streaming from the Archives, or downloading aud's.

Yeah, SBD's uploaded to the LMA are supposed to be for streaming only. There used to be a way to grab them,
but I think you can only download aud's. now. And if there is another way, it shouldn't be discussed openly.
Because that's the kind of thing that gets them pulled.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.

Yeah, most of us know. I'm just trying to steer the conversation away from that.

It's not that odd. Last year, touring was greatly reduced, and Bob and Phil were busy putting a lot of time and energy into their new adventures - TRI Studios and Terrapin Crossroads. After the New Year's show, on this site we were introduced to the characters that were on stage to meet the dragon, with more to come... In the meantime life had better ideas...

If the rule allows posting on archive.org of non-downloadable sbd's no less than 4 months after a Furthur show, then those who know how to do this should just do it. If anyone has a sbd to contribute, but doesn't know the process, please ask. I don't know, but there ought to be someone around here who knows how to upload to archive.org. (It's probably not too complicated.)

I meant that once the 4 months had passed the sbd's popped up quickly.I just assumed someone affiliated with the band was supplying them

Well, I suppose I'll eventually figure out to get these on my own.

although I agree the sbds are always better then any aud, there has def been a decline in quality over the last 1-1.5 years (unless its random hit or miss ). 4/15 is sounding great to me now though
