Kudos to Bob for the amazing Tri project he's got going on. Sound was everything it should be.

Which gets us back to the oft discussed subpar live and atrocious and sterile official "soundboard" releases from Furthur. What's the disconnect?

Bob is obviously dropping the coin on TRI to do it right. Furthur???? Who's calling the budgetary shots and choices there?

Mginn and Wiz appear to have it dialed just exactly perfect on TRI. Wiz did nicely with TD previously. Perhaps bringing them in and upgrading the sound is in order.

we should be able to hear Bobby in Furthur just as much as we could hear his voice and guitar last night.....

I really hope they fix the vocals for the next tour....

I have a feeling that the sound at Bob's solo acoustic shows is going to be top of the line as well.....

Guess it will be interesting to hear Furthur at TRI. Will Phil have any control over the mixing (featherstone) or will it be left to Bob's TRI crew. Hmmmmmmm/

Bob talking about the GD traveling with the Meyer system and how great that was may explain a lot on why in 2011 Furthur doesn't approximate the sound of the GD approx 30 years ago.
