I dont are one way or the other, if a woman wants to join the military..
they've been serving in the military in certain roles for a long time...

its the combat role, I believe they're not best suited for....

I find it ironic that I hav to argue with hippies to keep more human beings out of warzones....

Dude, war sucks and I hate it but I also would hate for my house to burn down so we need firefighters (women if they want), I hate if my house gets burglarized so we need policeman and women if they want to. I'm not seeing much of a difference..

So the solutions to the rape and sexual assault of women in our military by our own troops is to deny them access and not try and solve men's psychological problems and shortcomings? I'm not sure if I agree.that the best way to solve any problem is by denying members of our society equal rights under the law. Woman have choices just like men do, it may be tough to appreciate when you are a male but woman can decide for themselves just as men are allowed to do. Yo may not want them to but they have the ability to think for themselves and make their own rationale for facing mortal danger.

I honestly believe this new mandate is directly related to the fact that the military is desperate for bodies at this point...

I dont even wanna talk about how enlistment helps perpetuate this out of control military industrial complex, & its repercussions on our society..

& yes, I want to see (less) people eligible for combat roles, so our gov't has less ability to keep go invading other countries.

Well we don't have a draft right now and enlistment in the us is optional though it is required to register with the federal government when you turn 18. So I don't see how they are not being given a choice? Its a slippery slope when you start denying a portion of citizens in a country privileges that are given to half the population. That just feels like its setting all of us up for a future I don't want to be a part of.
