Furthur playing this kind of festival is kinda strange, a strong majority of us fans can't even consider spending the kind of money the whole weekend would cost, seems odd they'd do a festival that looks as though it's trying to keep the hippies out.

I'm gonna wait and see on this one. No single day tix plus Furthur on the Thursday instead of the weekend makes this difficult. And no camping on-site for that price? lets see what else happens around that time...

They've been linked to charities and events that are quite posh. This isn't anything new. Involvement in this could very well be part of another deal and an obligation. Who knows? Hell, a lot of their peers are exactly Napa demographics. For me...let me repeat...FOR ME...there isn't any great leap from $150-200 to see one of Phil's private shows and something like this. The bird is the bird.

Uh-Oh! I see complaining here! It's a good festival put on by some good-hearted people with some good bands...for a great cause. So they hired our band and didn't change the entire fest to accommodate our unruly crew? No need to bash! I sure can't afford it but I'll stay in my own movie and I'm sure you'll find fun stuff somewhere too. Camping- If you were on top of it you could've grabbed one of the RV spots. Also there are state campgrounds nearby. You can make it happen if you really want to. But Furthur is just one night after all....Outside Lands- remember? A "festival" with no camping, Furthur did one set, lotsa other bands, big ticket price. I didn't go there either- went kayaking and camping instead. Everybody wins.

^^I'm sure there is also a 'no refund policy' on the full tickets they already tricked people into getting thinking there are no single day passes

but that's good news... I think Furthur, Primus and the Black Crows are the same day
