I LOVE the boys....and girl. And there are some songs that I think they would just kick ass on. Now in the grand tradition of Dylan tunes....Everything Is Broken i think would be a real good base for them to take it Furthur. What are your ideas for a cover for the band? What would you like to hear them put their own stamp on?

I would love to hear them play "Half Moon" by Janis Joplin.

I think they also need to do an Elvis Costello tune to complete the cycle. Lots to choose from, but I think "What's so Funny about Peace, Love and Understanding" would be the selection. It's a Nick Lowe tune, but that's okay.

By the way, Elvis brought back his 'Spectucar Spinning Song Book" for the first time in a long while at a show in Vegas last night.


The order of songs in the concert is chosen at random by spinning a wheel on which the songs are listed during the show. I would guess it makes for lots of breaks between tunes, so I wouldn't recommend it for Furthur. Perhaps at the beginning of each set.
