Occupational specialist. I help people with congenital disabilities at work, find a job, learn the job, do so independently, help co workers understand how to interact with them.

Its OK and all that but the schedule for the last 2 months has caused me to miss my workouts and I ended up gaining some weight. Plus it doesn't pay very well at all, and I can't get a second job because of the irregular schedule.

I'm sending out resume's today and not stopping until I find a job with a regular schedule.

Its a nice job and all that but I'm not in it to go to heaven.

Copywriter. Marketing, promotional and publicity materials mostly for nonprofits. Lots of fundraising appeals. Self-employed.

The work's a little dry but essentially, my time is my own.

Last night was spent serving a once popular singer that was made famous in the 90's for a song about being a genie in a lamp or bottle or something, anyways fyi they were a major B word, I'd say C word but c'mon there's virgin eyes and ears on this site:) I want Tim and Burts job: attending every TXR show!

Did you mention that she could stand to chill out on the hamburgers?

Seriously, do you mean Christina??!! I'm sure that wasn't any fun for you, but I think that's really interesting. Though I'm bummed if it is her, I always thought she'd be kind of nice, probably because "Beautiful" is such a nice song. I should have known better, it's all marketing!

That sounds like a pretty fun job actually.

After decades of miserable, horrible, stressful jobs in hospitals and drug companies, when hubby took an early retirement from the corrections department a few years ago (very luckily with benefits for both of us), we decided to swap money for time and happiness and I quit my job too. Fortunately, my old boss talked me into working part-time as a consultant, so now still I work occasionally, but from my chair in my PJs. I review clinical data on patients in drug safety studies required by the FDA, basically trying to make sure the pharmaceutical companies aren't killing you with their legal drugs.

When I was downsized in January last year I told myself that I'm not getting any younger I also figured time was worth more than money.

I was OK with being a job coach until it messed with my time.
