I'm new here, and no expert on forums, but I do notice that this one is slow, and that people do complain about that from time to time. I just noticed that there are 646 pages of threads on the front page. Other forums I belong to clean house occasionally. Wouldn't things run faster if about 500 pages could be deleted or archived somewhere else?

look at the Shroomery... thousands and thousands of pages are available in each separate forum and they aren't slow - they gotta be one of the biggest forums on the internet

Nonlinear issues may be at play here. Perhaps the spirits of Steve Jobs, Pigpen and Jerry may be testing heads to see how deadicated we really are.

Ah im inclined to think it was the doses if not it must be well the doses.

As much as I'd like the board to run faster, I'd hate to lose any of the content. There's too many threads like the art and poetry threads, and above all the Flag thread, that shouldn't be deleted or trimmed. However, what we really need is a NEW SERVER, PLEASE!!!

As I've said before, the support folks don't care, please tell the band: @furthurband. The squeaky wheel might eventually get greased!

Well I bet there are a 100 pages of spam that could be deleted
