Thanks for the recs folks. I like the Boulder suggestions too. Hoping to find a good lunch spot and play out my inner tormented college aged hippie around CU.
Right now, I can't read too well...

Mnts are supposed to get a good foot or more next this week.

Too bad we are 50% under average snowpack for this time of year though
I went walkin' out last summer
Tryin' to find a breath of air
I went walkin' on the mountain
A friend had told me I'd find you there

I know..some places working around a 35 inch base..in the Rockies? That's what is expected where I was learning to ski in the mountains of NC (Sugar Mtn, Beech Mtn)..but not Colorado...Come On Big Snow Storm!!

This snow, that i would like to see, is so important tho, on many different levels.

Great to hear about snow!!!! While we were dry for most of January, our Nov and Dec made up for that and we have been 150% of normal this year. Amazing the geogaphic disparities.

The high (pun intended) that kept us dry this month finally moved which I was hoping would change things for everyone, including the Rockies for the Ogden/Broomfield trip.

We have swtich over too this week and a foot fell just last night and it looks like another 2-3 the next two days for up to 39 inches in this storm cycle. YAY, bring it on.

Small world story from Crystal Mountain, WA: While catching the gondola (or ganjala depending on your fellow riders) on Sat morn the gal running the lift had an iphone with speaks cranking Estimated. We connect and sure enough she is headed to Broomfield. You just never know when you are gonna meet yet another Head and friend. What a great community!!

Question for one of you locals, which shop should I hit up for some recently legalized wares at decent prices?

You still need a medical license at this time to legally buy buds. Top quality dirt cheap.

But you can possess without a problem. Just like medical, you can't partake in public. Red Rocks has a no med marijuana policy. Venues will probably continue to restrict or seek to profit off it.
