+1. It's been less than fun the last few days.

I feel the place is getting gunked up .

The best part of FFF lately has been all of the pictures from NYE. Other good stuff includes plans for Broomfield, the lyrics, words and quotes threads, plus wishing people happy birthdays. FFF may be suffering from to many people knowing about it. Kind of like what happened to Haight Asbury. The cynic in me believes that good things never last. On the other hand, there is still a lot of good stuff and wonderful people out here. Don't let Spam, Trolls and Hot Dogs ruin a good thing. Selective thread viewing may help. 87% of the time, the thread name (or person posting the thread) will give clues about content. My approach to annoying stuff has always been to not let it annoy me. Easier said then done.
In an ideal world, we would only have positive stuff out here. Unfortunately life doesn't work that way. The folks that run this board could do some editing, but I am not big on that idea. There is a price to pay for people being allowed to post what they want. Censoring stuff we don't want also has consequences.

I gotta say I don't visit too often anymore. See yas at shows though!

Thanks Dave, excellent points.

A very large part of why I don't post much lately is not because of the negativity, buy because of how it affects some people.
You just can'tet it get you down that much.
Find a way to filter it, Dave had some great suggestions.
It bothers me to see some folks I love, Sue and Em come to mind but theres others, ybecome so upset at the negativity that happens here.
Please my friends, figure something out.
You deserve to be happy here, but its up to you more than anyone else.
