Anyone know of any good shows coming up in San Fran in the next week or La the following week. I am headed out that way on vacation and NY seems like a music dead zone recently. I am dying to go to good show. If not shows what are some good venues? Thanks in advance for any help.

There are free shows at terrapin crossroads on thurs and Friday with Phil, the family band and mark Karan.

other than the free shows at terrapin on the 10th and 11th, jackie greene plays sweetwater the 9th-11th, they're sold out but tickets might not be that hard to come by, i don't know. other than that, not a whole lot.

you could always go to yoshis, jazz club at fillmore/eddy, or the multitude of other low key clubs in the city, which i'm not all that familiar with

i always get a lot of e-mails from promoters around the area but nothing much as of late, and not for those dates..

Thanks for the help. Just got keep my fingers crossed for LA. Killing me that Furthur had to chose that week to play up north.

TXR just added another bar show on the 9th without Phil and Mark.
On the 8th Phil is having trivia night at TXR. This might be fun.
