Looking forward to hearing it with such praise. I've been waiting to listen to a recording because I couldn't catch the stream. It's a song I've always loved, and it is a song PL&F and Furthur consistently do really well. I guess I would consider it an anchor in their repertoire. You can count on it being good quality at a show. On the other hand, it never truly, absolutely smokes me.

Just out of curiosity....why is the abbreviation for "Unbroken Chain" , "UBC" ? Shouldn't it be "UB"? That is all.

I was listening to the broadcast the other night but wasnt really "listening" as I was looking at weather and avy data for a NY day climb. See pic for some great visuals I caught.

Agree that UBC (I like that acronym for Unbroken Chain.......it seems to make sense) is a tune that Furthur really can jam on and just about always is strong. Just watched the vid, it was a good one.

Jeff does really take off on the solo, and IMHO he did that many times during the 2 shows I saw, it was good stuff.

I really liked 12/29/11 version of UBC which has been my #1 for the last year and I still think it is.

Like DenverMan, I really liked Sunday night, especially that 2nd set. I didnt stop dancing the entire time, even in days. They took Dark Star in a new direction that was a blast and I have to admit that there was a number of songs (Other One for example) where it seemed they had a real good time changing the normal structure.

Man I loved that Other One!!

LOL. Yep!!! I got up on NY day and well, after dancin' my ass off Sat and Sun and catching an early flight on Mon and a few glasses of wine NYE...............I wussed out and just went lift skiing. HAHA

Nice catch bro. I was wondering if anyone would cause it was a disconnect with the cable in the pic which doesnt usually show up when climbing.

That being said, I do use the lift system to start climbs some days out the to the back of the valley.
