I don't think I paid more than $20 for NYE night. The other nights I found a spot on the street. Don't quote me but I think they are free after a certain time. I never paid a meter....

Does the Whicomb have parking? I could ask the hotel itself. I hear that parking is tough downtown

There's a parking garage under the plaza across the street from the aud but I believe it closes at midnight so you have to get your car out of there before then.

Yeah 40 bucks a day is ridiculous but that must be how any downtown city gets their money I guess.

For better or for worse we have parked in the garage across the street several times it's like 10 and then 20 on actual New Years eve. Hell it might even be more than that. It's not cheap is all I know. I may try to get a spot on the street if possible this year..

Edit: I don't remember the garage closing as early as midnight and I know for sure it was open way past midnight on new years eve.
I went walkin' out last summer

I went walkin' on the mountain
A friend had told me I'd find you there

That's good to hear about the time. A couple of years ago a friend had to leave the show early cause he thought it shut at midnight.
