You've reminded me of how disgusting I find the GD shirts that incorporate sports teams and mascots into them. I mentioned how I don't care for corporate spoofs, but the sports inclusion might be more reprehensible. That's just me, though. I think professional sports is a pox, so bringing that into my church is an irritant for obvious reasons.

Yes we have a beautiful church and the reason it is so special is because they never sold out...

The reason I dont like sports is because I was a serious skateboarder when I was younger, I thought I was going pro then I got really injured... In skateboarding, you cant blame your teammates your shoes, your board... You can only blame your self.

The aspect I like about sports is the togetherness and celebration of life between so many people.

I say wear what ever the hell you want. Someone may not approve of your choice of garment, or the integration of some outside entity into it, say for instance a Yankees symbol in a Steal Your Face. Who cares? I do things for me, that I like, and ultimately could not care less what anyone else thinks about it. It they do not approve of what I am wearing, that is their problem. I may choose to wear a Gov't Mule shirt to a Furthur show, another person may hate the Mule. Oh well, get over it.

To be clear, I'm not anti sports as activities. They're fantastic and bring much, much joy (and a lesson or two if you're fortunate) to those who play them. It's just about everything else about them that has become a disease. I posted a diatribe about this subject somewhere on the board, so I won't bother to reiterate.

lately i've been wearing a shirt that says "I'm a pot smokin', tree huggin' porn watchin' lazy ass hippie!". has nothing to do with the dead but i get about 50 to 75 positive comments a show. people love it.
