Has Furthur every played The Main Ten? Not calling it as an opener, just wondering if they ever play that. I really dig that jam. I would like to see a Russo drum solo! He blows my mind everytime I see him. While he does unleash the proverbial beast when he plays King Solomon's, a full-fledged solo would make me a very happy guy.

Considering I'm flying from VA to CA, I think Promised Land would be a fitting opener even though I'm not from Norfolk nor am I flying to LA.

No arguments here. Playin to open the run and to close-out pre-encore(S)!

Isn't SM traditionally played at the stroke of midnight NYE?

Sounds good to me.

New Year's Eve: AGE OF AQUARIUS

Beginning 12/21...

I can see this song being the pre-countdown music...and the theme of the night is going to be about the age of Aquarius.

the main ten was a riff/jam that would become the basis for playin' in the band.

it actually refers to it's time signature, 10 beats per meter, like the 11

essentially everytime you hear playin' you are hearing the main ten riff

THAT would be interesting! All very good speculation Who has heard a new jam this year in either disguise or a full song?? My friend called dear prudence 4 shows earlier. Whatever they do it will be monumental MushroomMan wrote:
