so what is it about day job that bothers everybody? this will be a good one.

Day Job is fine I just don't think it's a stellar song and it most of the time was the encore and I could rattle off a 100 songs I'd rather hear in that spot.

I think Furthur's set lists are more diverse than the Dead's were 93 - 95.

it's just a straightforward rock and roll song with funny ass lyrics to a crowd consisting of so many bum types.

sure we always want what we can't have for an encore.

and yeah, furthur setlists are way more diverse, but still hitting so many shows leads to the same issue.

i get why folks don't like it, i just like to hear all the different reasons why.

i hope they encore it on NYE night

I have friends flying out from Jersey for the New Years run that will wanna hang themselves if they play it

I like Day Job. I always thought it was Jerry and Hunter trying to write a Chuck Berry tune.
