the Beacon is just under 3,000 capacity

the Best Buy Theater in NYC is 2100

TC would be the smallest, and they played several rehearsal shows there before it was Phil's place as well

Oh wow I thought Beacon was smaller than that. I guess the Ogden will be the smallest. (I don't count TXR).

Is there a list of FFF people that are attending the Ogden show? Might it be fun to get together at Quixotes prior to/or after show?

Quixotes is close by now isn't it? 13th ave or something? Do you know why they moved? I loved the place on Lawrence St. so wondering what happened...

I think they are at 13th and Grant ... the old Benders place? I presumed they moved due to either losing lease or needing more room, but don't really know. Haven't been to the new place, but only about 6-7 blocks from the Ogden.

It would be great to have roll calls for both the Ogden and Broomfield, eventually. I know there's the New Year's shows to get through first.

The smallest place I have seen Furthur is Las Vegas, so I don't know I guess it's a chance to see them in a small place and get that old school feeling that disappeared by time the 80's came around..


Just out of curiosity, what is the smallest public venue that Furthur has played? I would guess TRI is the smallest overall, but what about venues that people can buy tix to? The Joint in Vegas shows capacity at a little over 3000, and the Beacon is over 4000. Any ideas?


Smallest show I've been to was the stroudsberg, pa show or the best buy theater. Probably stroudsberg though that place was tiny and hot!

Let me tell you I feel so fortunate that a) Bobby is coming through Denver, b) We were able to make San Fran work again this year (thanks to grandma for babysitting), c) Furthur coming back to CO, d) Scoring that Ogden ticket.

It really hasn't sunk in that I am hitting the next 7 Furthur shows.

You will absolutely love the 1st Bank Sue.

I sure hope to add my name to the Ogden roll call list! Have 1, need 2. I got my vacation time approved...and bought return tickets home.... Just need that elusive miracle to make 6 of 7 into 7 of 7!
