Grateful dead / Traffic '94 was great but Grateful Dead / Sting in 93 was too kinda hard to decide
Dylan , Ziggy Marley, Steve Miller, Violent Femmes,Hot Tuna , Rusted Root, all were great openers
The band @ soldier field their last show. The band rocked. Also@ the gorge in 09 the doobies, allmans, and the dead, warren played for 2 hrs with allmans then came back out and played for another 3 with the dead. Amazing
Dead/Allman brothers at penn state for obama....and also ratdog/allman brothers saw two shows in 08 were pretty sick got my gf on the bus with them two shws and our 3rd show was the penn state show now shes a lifer...walkin aroubd singing dead tunes to her self 24/7 its great
I was at the buckeye lake show where Violent Femmes opened for GD, what a great day that was.
I also liked seeing Chuck Berry do the duck walk in the 95 degree heat before Portland Meadows back in the mid nineties.
I also remember Santana opening for the dead at mile high stadium in 91 or 92... We were cruising toward Denver over the flat plains when we heard on the radio that Santana was busted for marijuana possession at the airport and it was questionable if he was even going to make it up until the show started. And he rocked.
