seven hills of gold is an original furthur tune right? i've been jamming the sept 2010 version from santa barbara and it is hot! i have never heard it at any of my other 15 plus shows. any thoughts??

I miss it. Wouldn't mind catching one. But I REALLY wanna catch a "Colors of the Rain."

The first time seven hills of gold was played was up at Gelsten Castle estates. It was the day before the fourth and at the end of the show I remember sitting on the hill and being able to see the fireworks of the surrounding upstate NY area all at once.

The first time they played colors of the rain was during the baseball park tour that summer. It was a beautiful summer night and at one point in the evening the seeds from flowering trees released and it looked like volcano ash pouring out of the sky during fire on the mountain.

i wish they never stopped playing either! the jams from some of the later colors of the rain were great and seven hills of gold is glorious poem to san francisco and a great tune!!
