Driving my kids nuts with XM Radio GD channel

#21573 3 years, 4 months ago
They're into the newer music which is fine, but I like to drive with the XM radio on the GD channel when we're out, and yesterday my oldest boy, 15, told me he was tired of the dead, that was all I listened to lately. just knowing I can annoy my kids indirectly is enough for me!

I was trying to turn my son on to PL&F a few years back. He listened intently, then turned to me real serious and said, "It sounds like little children are playing." End of lesson.

My 21-year-old daughter likes GD, Furthur and the jamband scene. But my soon to be 18-year-old son likes Wiz Khalif, but also Marley, so there is hope. (I actually think Wiz is fun too).

The son generally pooh-poohs the Dead, but yesterday I slipped on Working Man's Dead while cooking and my son started to absent mindedly sing along. I think Ma and Pa have infiltrated his brain and it is only a matter of time until he gets on board.
