Lot's of good reading about the 60's on this sight, many topics covered from music to fashion to literature to sociology and everything in between and beyond
younger heads can find a wealth of info on where it came from and how it began and flourished

I also, being one of those younger heads, recommend Can't Find My Way Home: America in the Great Stoned Age, 1945-2000 by Martin Torgoff.

Not as encompassing as the other material (look at the title), but its a grate read for anyone looking to learn furthur about the development of counterculture during the mid-century awakening or, of course, more than a few excerpts involving substantial substance indulgence.
