You know whats funny... I have a buddy i toured with this last year and he would always smell like realy bad and i never wanted to be rude and be like why do you always stink? Turns out that he was just always wearing patchuloi hahahahahah

so basically. I think it smells like shit and have no idea whey people use that when you can buy a bar of soap for less than a dollar. Im not hating on anyone who likes it but i just dont like the smell at all

It is ordorific* - Right up there with burning sage and that fruity scented body oil.

Urban Dictionary: odorific: When an odor is so fucking bad that you have to hold your nose.

Give the ripe scents of the human, all of 'em instead.

Why do you ask?

this stuff is disgusting and it gives me a headache and aggravates my allergies

rather than using patchouli there are several versions of soaps, body washes , antiperspirants that are available and far better for
you than not bathing , I thought that refusal to bathe ended with Josep and the spinner family I understand that wooks have at least kept up the basic tradition however this is for reasons far from the lame excuse the spinners offered up yet equally as lame lol

^Dr Bonners Peppermint soap rules.^

always thought Patchouli was gross.the unfortunate fact that one drop lasts so long (a second is too long) is part of the lure maybe... it's too heavy, like nag champa incense..overkill..doesn't even smell good

Sandlewood Oil is much better...and Mother's Incense

Being clean is nice.

Patchouli has a bad rap because a very little goes a long way. It smells wonderful when used as a base to add other scents to. It has grounding and soothing effects, a reason why highly mobile cultures depend on it to to connect spirit with place...
