Cool, our cat was a rescue.
The little white dog on the other hand was a $1300 "Morkie".......half Maltese and half Yorkshire Terrier. Great story - so my wife had just divorced her 2nd husband for cheating, and he (the ex) had bought the Morkie for his new gf. The new gf is young and the puppy is too much for her, so the ex husband asks my wife to take her. She being the huge pet lover she is, took her in. How's that for a big heart.
Pearl, the Morkie, is a good little girl but we have to put a diaper on her at night to not pee on the floor. LOL.
