Mother died March 28, 1962(she was a singer), Met my husband on March 28, 1979(1st and last blind date), my first Dead show March 28, 1985(began with Truckin), My son's due date on March 28th, 1990(played Dark Star during delivery).
Got any amazing/WEIRD coincidences, synchronicity RE: the Dead/Furthur???

How about when the Dead come on the radio(a rare enough occurrence) singing GDTRFB just when I'm feeling the lowest of lows, or I heard strains of Fire on the Mountain from a passing car as the sun sets in all of it's firey glory in Maui...etc.

I was also walking down the street with my IPOD singing outloud along to US Blues two days ago...my favorite version with Pigpen and someone walking by sang the next verse...both thumbs up! LOVELOVELOVE

Pigpen passed away before the first time they played U.S. Blues....

I did know and hear versions called "Wave That Flag" before it just totally slipped my mind when I searched "U.S. Blues" on the setlist program...

Now I'm going to search for Wave that Flag...!!

I was humming Eyes of the World in a park near the Eiffel Tower last year when a Parisian asked me if I was into the Dead...Turned out she was a total Deadhead...and helped me navigate the subways together...She says there are quite a few Paris Deadheads...
