Double lp "Psychedelic Pill" is outstanding! Get yourself a copy as quick as you can for the sake of your ears! Really, pretty awesome and I've been a fan since I was wee. Caught the last Red Rocks show he played *rather the first of the last two, 8/5 for those of you that want to get technical * and they covered the album at said show. Being that we all love a band that was much better live than they could ever be in studio, I'm sure we can all agree Neil is in the same boat from time to time and the album is as good if not better than the material was while it was being road tested and raw, which is imo, when it's usually at it's best. Great, great album.

I'm reading a lot of mixed reviews, but the long jam he streamed on his site has me optimistic (not included on the album). I liked Le Noise quite a bit, but I thought Americana was terrible. There's nowhere to go but up from there.

The album does remind me of Ragged Glory. I remember when I bought that record when it came out and listened to the whole thing, loud, driving from central CA to Vegas. Good stuff.

great show last night, they played Twisted Road....and the crowd ate it up. born in ontario great frikken tune, but then again a little bias on my part as I was born there too.....not too far from Brock Road. Walk Like a Giant, killer as well. Gotta give Props to Los Lobos (25 yrs since i first saw them, maybe more?), they came out rockin' and set the tone for the show.

^^^^yeah key arena sucks. great for basketball (going to the Elgin Baylor Classic this evening) & hockey & dog shows, not so good for music. although i'd have to say Neil's show was perfect for that venue. loud with sonic jams and a good stage set up. loved the crazy horse test pattern tv screens on either side of the stage......and the lab/safety techs on stage, they were a riot. i don't know how I-502's gonna play out, it is a step in the right direction but i think not as enlightened as our colorado brothers & sisters.

It's a typical big arena it was fine just a little stuffy. If you saw some poor slob wearing a black 'Lesh' beanie it was me
