Localized rainfall totals could approach a foot. So, flooding is going to be the biggest concern. And power outages.

I reckon so. Time to tape the windows and hope the power doesn't go out. She's gonna' be a big one! Stocking up on beer, D cells, fill all available containers with water, have lots of ice in the freezer in case the power goes out, etc.

This is part of the price we pay on the east coast for getting all those Furthur shows. Not that there's any correlation there, but you in the midwest/mountains/west coast will be safer for the next week.

i heard that indy show rocked though.
still, when i lived in KY, i saw ratdog(or phil or mickey or billy) anytime they came through, and as i recall, i used to get like an average of 4 shows a year.
the pagent in st. louis, the murat in indy, the palace in luval, new daisy and ryman in TN, and thats just a 4 hour drive from my hometown
they go where the tickets sell.
i guese the kids nowadays like that techno shit more.

remember when"raves" where the fashin in the mid 90s, like jungle and house, etc. now its all dubstep. and it mostly sucks.

Just went to the grocery store to pick up a few things here in NYC. Wished I had taken a picture, the store had lines like I've never seen, worse than what preceded Irene last year.
Evacuations are underway, and the MTA shuts down tonight, subways at 7pm and buses at 9pm. I hope no one is stuck in the city without a way to get home.
People on the east coast will get through this, I have faith. What concerns me are animals stuck out in this storm.

The winds have been picking up. Might as well get this over with, it's inevitable.
