Man I could fill 10 pages of my favorite lyrics! Hunter and Barlow are geniuses!
I went walkin' out last summer
Tryin' to find a breath of air
I went walkin' on the mountain
A friend had told me I'd find you there

If you stumble, make it part of the dance.

Some folks would be happy to just to have one dream come true, but all thatv you gather is just more that you can lose.
The voices tell me what to say

"Nail a retread to my feet..and pray for better WEATHER".......................

as noted above there are way to many to list. A couple more off the top of my head-

"Strangers stoppin strangers, just shake their hand.. everybodys playin in the heart of gold band"

"there may come a day when I'll dance on your grave, unable to dance I'll still crawl across it..unable to dance I'll crawl..yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Inspiration, move me brightly
Light the song with sense of colour
Hold away despair
More than this I will not ask
Faced with mysteries dark and vast
Statements just seem vain at last
Some rise, some fall, some climb
To get to Terrapin"

She's a summer love for spring, fall and winter.
She can make happy any man alive!!!!!!!!

She's got everything delightful,
she's got everything I need,
Takes the wheel when I'm seeing double,
pays my ticket when I speed!!!!!!!!

Ok one last one-

God save the child that rings that bell
It may have one good ring baby, you can't tell
One watch by night, one watch by day
If you get confused listen to the music play!

A couple more :

"We can share the women we can share the wine, we can share what we got of yours cause we done shared all of mine"

"Hand me my old guitar, pass the whiskey round, won't ya tell everybody you meet that the candymans in town"

" I can't help you with your troubles, if you can't help with mine"

"Say it once again now, Oh I hope you understand
When it's done and over..Lord, a man is just a man"

how can I forget:

I've stayed in every blue-light cheap hotel
Can't win for trying
Dust off those rusty strings just
one more time
Gonna make em shine (shine!)

I'm gonna sing you a hundred verses in ragtime
I know this song it ain't never gonna end
I'm gonna march you up and down the local county line
Take you to the leader of the band !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like Crazy Otto
Just like Wolfman Jack
Sittin' plush with a royal flush
Aces back to back
Just like Mary Shelley
Just like Frankenstein
Clank your chains and count your change
Try to walk the line
