I went walkin' out last summer
Tryin' to find a breath of air
I went walkin' on the mountain
A friend had told me I'd find you there

Good Lord I need to find some sbds. Listened to 10/22 yesterday and 10/23 today and this dude (sounds like the same guy both nights) is non-stop screaming for people to "Sit Down"!! Doesn't seem like a very good time to sit there yelling at people the enitre show. Maybe you can't see Jerry with people standing but hell you can't hear him either with the incessant screaming. Sheesh. I bet the taper was ready to strangle him.

Has anyone ever been yelled at to sit down? Actually I am just wondering recently with Furthur. I couldn't see people being real receptive to that these days. Maybe it's just a New York thing? At Broomfield 2010, first show, this guy taps me on the shoulder and asks me if I planned on standing the entire time. I was like "I don't maybe, probably not the ENTIRE time but even if I sit down someone else will be standing and do you really want to confront people for 3 straight hours"? He was actually cool and didn't say anything after that.

Never have I been asked or yeled at to sit down. Once when an immature freak, spun out of control, i was yelling the lyrics at the top of my lungs, I was told to stuff it. IT was my 3rd show. Dosed out of my mind with no discipline and acted like a fool.

Wow! 10/23/66, Las Lomas High School - Walnut Creek, CA. I had to look into this. A 3pm show? Ah, it was a sunday.
Originally scheduled for Walnut Creek Library. That must have been wild.

Unrelated info;
And the Yardbirds played that same day, at the Fillmore. With Jeff and Jimmy. And Country Joe and the fish opened.

I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.
Who you are, and what you do,
don't make no difference to me.
